At the center of Watson’s R&D laboratory are our nutritionists and scientists; some of the foremost experts in the industry. By utilizing our knowledge and instrumentation in our modern R&D laboratory, we are able to provide the highest level of support to our customers, from initial concept development through prototype development and full scale production runs. Stability testing, tableting, dissolution rate, sensory evaluation and research data from our nutritional R&D laboratory provides our customers with the information they require during formulation or reformulation of their food, beverage or dietary supplement products including gummy formulations.
The majority of the product development, formulation and technical support, has an advanced education in chemistry or food science. The group consists of individuals with fundamental training and applied expertise in human nutrition, international regulations, protein chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, surfactant and emulsion technology, enzymology, microbiology and many application specialties.
